2: 45. ADAC Roland - Rallye

Zur Roland-Rallye in Nordhausen starteten acht Teams weniger als in Wittenberg, nämlich 69. Dafür drückte das schöne Wetter die Ausfallquote, sodass 37 Teams das Ziel erreichten.
Die Rallye wurde diesmal zur relativ sicheren Beute von Mathias Demuth im Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. Einzig Frank Bruhy konnte mit dem heckgetriebenen Porsche 911 Carrera RS (H15) sensationell den Anschluss wahren, er hatte kurzzeitig auf WP 3 sogar die Führung übernommen. Doch auf dem abschließenden Gehege-Rundkurs deklassierte Mathias die Konkurrenz und gewann letztlich mit einem Vorsprung von 10 Sekunden. Rang drei ging an Nico Rehm (ebenfalls Evo IX) mit 18 Sekunden Rückstand.
Auf Rang vier erreichte Norman Müller im Lancia Delta Integrale das Ziel und gewann damit die Klasse C28 klar vor Libor Tomeček und Michał Ruciński, die im Ziel nur eine Sekunde trennte.
Auf Rang fünf lief diesmal einer der seltenen S1600, nämlich der Opel Corsa von dem Polen Mateusz Przyszlakowski, ein.
Für den Sieger der bestbesetzten Klasse RC4 reichte es diesmal "nur" zu Gesamtrang zehn: Erneut konnte sich Torsten Stein (Peugeot 208 R2) gegen die Konkurrenten durchsetzen und baut damit seine Führung in der Meisterschaft aus. Diesmal gab jedoch der Slowene Klemen Novak (Škoda Fabia R2) zu Beginn das Tempo vor, bis er auf WP 6 nach einem Fahrfehler über 40 Sekunden verlor und letztlich dritter in der Klasse wurde. Bis zur WP 4 kämpften um diesen Platz der Russe Sergey Bokov, der letzlich Klassenzweiter wurde, und Meisterschaftsorganisator Wolfgang Barnert (beide Opel Adam R2). Letzterer beschädigte sich jedoch auf WP 5 bei einem Ausrutscher das Kühlsystem nachhaltig, was fatale Folgen hatte: Der Adam fing auf der folgenden WP Feuer und brannte nach dem Ziel fast vollkommen aus.
In der Klasse C24 setzte sich erneut der Slowake Jozef Mydliar im Fiat 131 Abarth gegen die beiden wunderschönen FSO Polonez 2000 von Lukas Buczek und Stefan Hummel durch.
Gregor Maver gewinnt im Renault Clio R3 die Klasse RC3, während Oliver Praetzel und Marco Salomo als einzige in der Klasse RC5 respektive C23 starten und sie somit zu ihren Gunsten entscheiden.

69 drivers, that is eight teams lesser than in Wittenberg, started to the Roland-Rallye in Nordhausen. However, the sunny weather reduced the failure quota and hence 37 teams reached the finish.
The rally was won by Mathias Demuth in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX despite the great efforts of Frank Bruhy in an RWD Porsche Carrera RS (H15), who sensationelly led the rally after stage three still was only two seconds behind Mathias before the last stage. But on this SS, "Gehege", he lost about eight seconds to the leader.
Nico Rehm on another Evo IX completed the rostrum with an 18-second-deficit.
The winner of class C28, Norman Müller (Lancia Delta Integrale), reached fourth place overall and won the class clearly prior to Libor Tomeček and Michał Ruciński, which were only seperated by a second in the finish.
Place five was obtained by one of the rare S1600-cars, the Opel Corsa of the Polish driver Mateusz Przyszlakowski.
The class with the most starters (RC4) was again won by Torsten Stein in the Peugeot 208 R2, which therefore increased his lead in the championship. Nevertheless, the speed was made out by the Slovene Klemen Novak (Škoda Fabia R2) this time, but he lost his lead after a mistake in SS 6 and reached the finish in third positon. Up to SS 4 the Russian driver Sergey Bokov who reached the finish in second class place and champioship organiser Wolfgang Barnert (both Opel Adam R2) fought for this place. But the letter of them damged the cooling system after a little crash in stage five. That had fatal consequences: The Adam caught fire the following special stage and nearly burnt out completely right after the finish.
The Slovak Jozef Mydliar in his Fiat 131 Abarth again won Class C24 and beat Lukas Buczek and Stefan Hummel, which both participated in wonderful FSO Polonez 2000.
Class RC3 was won by Gregor Maver in a Renault Clio R3, whereas Oliver Praetzel and Marco Salomo were the only starters in class RC5 respectively C23 and thus won their classes.
